Call for Papers: Enabling Technologies for Vehicle-to-Everything Communications Towards 6G Era

Introduction

We are on the cusp of a new era of intelligent transportation. As a key enabler for intelligent transportation systems (ITS), vehicle-to-everything (V2X) encompasses a broad range of wireless technologies including vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications, vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communications, and vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P) communications, as well as communications with vulnerable road users (VRUs), and with cloud networks (V2N). Although 5G-NR V2X offers improved performance with advanced services, the explosive growth of communications devices and the rising demand for many emerging services will bring new communication challenges to the V2X network. It is anticipated that the sixth-generation (6G) communication systems will fulfil these requirements of the next-generation V2X. Supported by the sixth generation (6G) of wireless systems, V2X communications will bring far-reaching and transformative benefits with significantly enhanced reliability and security, extremely higher data rates, massive and hyper-fast wireless access, as well as much smarter, longer, and greener three-dimensional (3D) communication coverage.

Scope of this Issue

This special issue seeks to bring together contributions from researchers and practitioners in the area of wireless communications, with an emphasis on new approaches and techniques for V2X communications. We solicit high-quality original research papers on topics including, but not limited to

  • Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) for 6G V2X network

  • Integrated control and computing for 6G V2X network

  • Security and privacy issues for 6G V2X network

  • System-level simulation, prototyping, and field-tests for 6G V2X

  • Spectrum analysis and resource management for 6G V2X network

  • Network architectures/transmission protocols for 6G V2X network

  • Multiple Radio Access Technologies for V2X network

  • Millimeter wave and terahertz-assisted V2X networks

  • UAV/Satellite assisted V2X


Submission Guidelines

  1. The paper should belong to the author’s scientific research results, the data are true and reliable, have important academic and application value, and has not been published or read in public publications or conferences. Besides, there is no issue of duplicate submission.

  2. The paper should include title, abstract, keywords, body text and references, please referring to the recent papers on Chinese Journal of Electronics (it is a blind review and please hide the authors and funding information).

  3. Please submit the paper through the official website (http://cje.ejournal.org.cn/) The corresponding author’s contact address, telephone number, and E-mail address should be attached to the paper (Please fill in the system when you register the website, and do not put them in the manuscript. Articles will be reviewed anonymously according to the standard of normal submissions).

  4. Please note “V2X2023+” in the head of the paper title when submitting it.
