The MC-CC Method Applied for Electromagnetic-Thermal Multi-Physics Statistical Analysis

  • The Monte Carlo Correlation Coefficient (MC-CC) method is an efficient and accurate stochastic algorithm based on the fundamental principles of Monte Carlo methods, which can effectively enhance the numerical accuracy of the Stochastic Finite-Difference Time-Domain (S-FDTD) method. However, its application is limited to statistical analysis of electromagnetic fields. In this paper, we propose the MC-CC method that can efficiently and accurately solve random problems in thermal field and electromagnetic-thermal multi-physics. This method can significantly improve the numerical accuracy of the S-FDTD method when performing statistical analysis of thermal field and electromagnetic-thermal multi-physics, while also reducing computational time compared to conventional Monte Carlo method.
