Abstract
Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) is an attractive multiple access technology for future communication networks. One of the key technologies of NOMA systems is the serial interference cancellation (SIC) receiver, which depends on the demodulating quality of the stronger user. This paper propose and analyze a weak signal regulated power-domain NOMA (PD-NOMA) demodulation algorithm to eliminate the inter-user interference (IUI) caused by weaker user signals, thereby improving the bit error rate (BER) performance and reliability of NOMA systems. Finally, simulation results validate the accuracy of our analysis, and demonstrate that the proposed receiver outperforms the conventional receiver in terms of reliability.
