Three classes of structured regular Lowdensity parity-check (LDPC) codes with girth at least 6are constructed from frequency-hopping sequences. Theparity-check matrices of these codes have uniform row andcolumn weights, simple and explicit structure, as well asa large variety of candidate parameters. Simulation results show that the new codes perform very similar to therandomly constructed LDPC codes over Additive whiteGaussian noise (AWGN) channels.
