Abstract
In the reconstruction of complex permittivity, a lot of data in scattering fields measured around thebody consumed enormous calculation. In fact, the contribution of data measured in different areas is quite dissimilar to the reconstruction. In this paper, we propose a novelmethod to analyze the influence of data measured in different areas on the image quality before the reconstruction.By calculating the evaluation factor based on informationentropy and Bayesian theory, only the data measured incrucial areas are used to reconstruct the permittivity canobviously reduce the computing time. In a 2-D microwavebiomedical imaging, we have verified the feasibility of thismethod.
