Title: Optimization of Information Interaction Protocols in Cooperative Vehicle-Infrastructure Systems

Abstract: This research investigate the information interaction protocols for Cooperative vehicle-infrastructure systems (CVIS) safety-related services and optimizes them in three aspects. It puts forward a self-adaptive back-off algorithm. This algorithm considers retransmission times and network busy degree to choose a suitable contention window. A mathematical analysis model is developed to verify its performance improvement. Finally, different scenario models of Vehicle ad hoc network (VANET) are simulated through the network simulation tool and the influences of different access modes on Quality of Service (QoS) are investigated. The simulation results have verified the improvement of the proposed algorithm is obvious and RTS/CTS access mode can sacrifice slight delay for great improvement of packet lost rate when there are large amount of vehicle nodes.

Title: Fundamental Research on Smart Integration Identifier Networking

Abstract: Due to deficiencies stemmed from its original design, the current Internet has exposed many serious drawbacks in service quality, resource utilization, and management/control capabilities, which cannot satisfy increasingly complex and diversified requirements from "Internet +" businesses on communication networks and services. Therefore, how to design a clean-slate Internet has become one of the most urgent and core research contents in the information field, and it has received great attention from both academics and industries. Hence, in this paper, we propose a novel network architecture with its associated key mechanisms, namely Smart Integration Identifier Networking (SINET-I),based on our previous works of Identifier Networking and Smart Identifier Networking.By smart integration of network-wide multi-space and multi-dimensional resources,SINET-I is able to achieve on-demand provision of individualized services and effective support for flexible networking, thus, it can provide differentiated and customized communication network services efficiently for various industries and users, thereby applicable to many different application scenarios such as high-speed rail networks, industrial Internet and vehicular networks.
